phil
over a week ago i met this wonderful man at my friend's wedding(only a week i know). i don't know what happened--but SOMETHING did. phil and i only spent 2 days together (if that)...before he returned to london where he lives. we've spoken on the phone almost every day (and email). he's coming back here in august for 2 weeks...it's that real. he's honest, sincere, caring, funny, handsome, sweet, and most importantly makes me smile. i never thought i'd meet someone like him. and as many of you know--i had pretty much given up. i know there was always a glimmer out there-but wondered if i'd ever see it. well, i found it in phil's eyes (as cheesey as that may sound). the feelings are mutual on both sides (of the atlantic). so we recognize we need to spend some real time together to see if this is really it.
so stay tuned and wish us luck...it ain't gonna be easy. but time will tell and if it's meant to be, it will be. phil and i know that.
few fun facts about phil: he's 35, is a head chef at a restaurant in london called Launceston Place in Kensington, has a house(2 flat), a cute little vintage car and also rides around london his little moped(bike)...zoom zoom. oh yeah--he doesn't smoke (YAY!) and isn't allergic to cats (double YAY!!!)
ps-phil doesn't know about the blog yet...so don't be surprised if some of these posting disappear...although i have nothing to hide from him...and he pretty much knows all of the above. but let's just keep this "our secret" for now.
