liquidation
i participated in a group garage sale the past weekend. there were about a dozen of us that all had tables set up in this storage warehouse. since we all pooled together-i only had to pay $6 for my cut in 2 ads!? considering i didn't have any major items...i was still able to liquidate some junk into $$$'s. (about $100). got some stuff outta the storage and some $'s into my pocket(i sold my old vacuum, an office chair, some cds that have been in my storage for over 2 yrs or more, a rug, etc). also scored a great homemade cd rack for $20 (something i have been looking for)...
but it was fun to do this collectively and hang out w. friends. everyone brought some sort of food and it seems like a party too. totally the way to go!
