nick hornby & Marah
i went to this pretty cool event sat night. author nick hornby did a reading of unpublished stories intermittently with a live band that he adores: Marah. it was pretty cool to be in this room w/ about 150 people and seeing nick hornby, one of my favorite authors. my friends and i all agreed it was pretty cool and the band had some pretty cool moments as well--but we all weren't feeling the magic mr. hornby tries to convey about this band. but was really glad i planned to fly back in time for this event. truly a special night.
