fire safety
so if you read this... as my friend i ask of you to go right now and check your smoke alarm/detector...
well...? i'll wait...
this am there was a story about the other night a mother and 2 small children dying in a home fire and they did NOT have any working smoke detectors. and they said they would have probably made it out alive if that wasn't the case.
so this am...i decided to check mine...NO RESPONSE when i pushed the button!!?
stopped at kmart on my way home and got a NEW one...and put it in and it appears this other battery just wasn't even pushed in all the way?! regardless, i am leaving the new & working battery in.
