my life is a soundtrack

pumpkin bagels, granny apples, & chops

walked up to clark st in andersonville to pick up a few pumpkin bagels since nothing in my cupboards and fridge seemed appetizing. was worth the walk!

also tried out a recipe i saw in my Real Simple Mag tonite: Pork Chops with Granny Smith Apples. think i put in too much fresh parsley & not really sure why the recipe called for the apples bc you just cut em in half and put em in the pan for 5 minutes and then set aside... not a very big gran apple fan...so may opt out on that next time. but chops were pretty tastey and have leftover for tomorrow.

took another walk in the afternoon since it was a nice day.

got a call from my friend eric who i knew when he worked for emi in ann arbor and i was in cleveland. he's moving here to work for capitol and was chatting w/ him about where he may want to look for an apt here, etc. will be nice to have a familiar friend back in the office.
