backup!???!
well a few weeks ago i put on my plumbers cap and unclogged the kitchen sink-which has seemed to hold up just fine. but today a situation came up that required emergency help!! i had to call our maintenance guy and a plumber that our association uses due to a backup w/ my toilet and shower!? let's just say a plunger and a store-bought snake wouldn't have done the trick. these guys had to take my toilet off and go straight down w/ 2 different machines (that had long coils). the very fortunate part to this story is that the guy said the actual clog was questionable as to where it was...either my pipe or a common pipe. he sided w/ the common pipe and therefore the bill goes to the association. the maintenance guy was even there to discuss w/ the plumber--so i also have a witness. let's keep our fingers crossed that the association does not dispute the bill!?? the plumber did tell me to say "i don't know what happened" if i do get asked. phew!!!
