babies "r" everywhere
so many friends having babies...bought some really cute fabric today at the fabric store (had little pics of cartoon baby heads and there are words on there that say things like: eat, sleep, nap, drink, poop, cry...) that i am going to attempt to turn into baby blankets for a few "moms"...
1. my friend char just had a baby last month--that i would like to send a little something to.
2. my friends mark & trish are having their first baby in nov and i'm going to a baby shower in a few weeks. i already got a gift-but would like to include something personal too.
3. my cousin is due in jan w/ her first
4. my sister= my 2nd neice/nephew is due in late jan.
we'll see how the sewin' goes... i actually did quite well w/ some home projects earlier this year.
my friend meg was visiting from mnpls this week. she just moved out there a few mths ago. we actually went to babies r us bc she wanted to pick up a gift for mark/trish...we were a bit overwhelmed in the baby store-but got a nice gift together so meg could give it while she was here. meg and i went to californina pizza kitchen afterwards and got to catch up. was good to spend some time w/ her just hanging out like we used to.
