my life is a soundtrack

return and reunions still continue

so i'm on the plane back to chicago sipping my coffee while everyone else shuffles onto the plane. and i look up and see another familiar face!? an old family friend: tom. i've known him for as long as i can remember since both our parents used to be neighbors when we were wee little ones and they both moved into bigger houses to adapt to the growing families. we shared a family boat together (called "Storm Signal"). Tom is a year or 2 older than me and i probably haven't seen him in about 10-15 years too. we said hello and i told him i'd wait for him off the plane so we can catch up.

turns out he got a job here a few mths ago (his brother lives here too) and he's been commuting here and trying to find an apt to sublet for awhile. he just got married about a year ago and he and his wife have a house there. we exchanged #"s and maybe we'll meet up again soon.

was just one long crazy trip down memory lane this past weekend that's for sure. no wonder why i was so exhausted monday night!?
