final straw
so went to yet another amazing show tonite at metro (sold out) featuring my favorite record of the year by the band snow patrol.
when i heard their cd earlier this year it was just dead on with what i wanted and needed to hear. i honestly could not stop listening to it over & over & over for the first week i got the cd in march. I saw them back in april at a smaller club and that was great too. but it was great to be able to look back at the past several months and reflect and see how things are then & now. back then it was hard to even see how things would be for me in september. my sweet little cat had become so ill and this record was such a great escape and inspiration for me. so it was great to be here tonite and celebrating so many things i am grateful for in my life today.
