conservative & change
was thinking about the past week on the drive home this evening.
i think i've been in more shock about just how damn conservative this country is. i guess i always thought we were more forward-thinking & open-minded...but i guess not as many as i thought. so disappointing. so many people in the world look to our country to see what we're doing (right & wrong). and just feel ashamed and embarassed primarily who represents us unfortunately: the president. disbelief.
myself and many of my friends i think were so passionate and excited about this election bc we felt like there could actually be a change. a change!??! but what popped thru my head this evening also is it goes back to that saying: people fear change. and that's what i think it really came down to at the push of the polling button.
