long way round
this goes in line w/ my infatuation w/ ewan mcrgregor...when i saw him a few weeks ago he was talking about this documentary he just did. it involved him and his buddy riding on their motorcyles from the UK to NYC...
i finally saw it earlier today and it's a fascinating program. the things & people they encountered on their trip. they just went thru Prague, czech republic and just reached russia today.

Episode 2
In the second episode, the journey begins as Ewan and Charley leave from London. The two companions ride through Brussels, Germany, Czech Republic, Prague, Slovakia, the Ukraine and Kiev enjoying the sites and visiting with tourists and locals along the way. The trip nearly becomes jeopardized after they get stopped at two different borders along the way and Ewan endures an eye injury that threatens to end the journey. After a long day at the Ukraine border that leads into night, a local invites them to stay in his home the results in quite a memorable experience. Meanwhile, the men start to feel loneliness from the separation of their wives and children and realize they still have many miles to go before the trip is complete.
