my life is a soundtrack

new blog name & this week's "Soundtrack"

so just as i was working on my previous entry...it struck me that the name of my blog should not refer to a "scrapbook" but a "soundtrack". here is how it struck me...

all day songs & lyrics have been racing through my head. it's always a place i've found to escape & solace. i have always found the comfort in finding someone else out there who can feel and think what i am and be able to find a way to put it in words and to music. i'm always trying to find that song to fit my mood, my mind, etc.

so along with the previous entry...here are songs that have popped into my head today to find some calm (and even some angst) at this time & date. and would describe the soundtrack to my life this week:

-coldplay - "politik", "the scientist" & "clocks"
-underworld- "king of snake"
-Depeche Mode- "personal jesus"
-Beastie Boys- "sabotage"
